A TRACK FOCUSED ON PERFORMANCE AND DRIVING PLEASURE
In the development of a racing vehicle, the choice of a test track requires the consideration of an increasing number of technical and practical parameters.
Experts in the fabrication of test tracks, the Corbières Development Competition team keeps in mind that the success of a team rests on a compromise of always faster, crazier or more technical test tracks.
Our track is deliberately versatile. To achieve this result, the engineers at Corbières Développement Compétition did not hesitate to rework the technical content of a concept that they have never stopped developing to build a real range of rally-raid tracks that is unique in Europe.
For more than 21 years, the Corbières Développement Compétition team has been organising trials for the biggest teams in the south of France, in the heart of the Corbières, at Fontjoncouse (11) in the Aude department.
Corbières Développement Compétition supports the International Automobile Federation (FIA), the World Rally Championship (WRC) and the Dakar Rally.
WRC Track
Our WRC Test Track, offers you several special stage concepts similar to the most popular rallies: Rally Portugal, Rally Chile, Rally Finland, Rally Mexico, Rally Argentina, Rally Australia, Rally Morocco, Rally Sardinia, as well as 6 asphalt special stages similar to the Tour of Corsica and Rally Catalonia in Spain.
Several styles of specials are available : a choice of rolling tracks as well as very brittle tracks for development or complete set up adjustments.
The mileage of the timed sectors is up to you and nearly 10 totally different ground rally special stages are at your disposal, as well as 9 asphalt bases. It is a site specially designed for development and entirely secure, hence maximum confidentiality. Reception facilities are in place to receive your team as well as a new garage to keep the mechanics warm. We still have several hectares of virgin land as well as all the equipment (bulldozer, crusher, steam roller, etc.) needed to create the tracks or developments of your choice.
A medical service (emergency nurse) can be put at your disposal on the site to accompany your testing sessions in complete safety.
We can provide you with complete packages with meals on the slopes and overnight stays in hotels with full board in private rooms in a fully privatized site for your teams, as well as breakfasts, lunches and dinners on the slopes and open bar
Rally Raid Track
A track built by pilots for pilots. On a clay-limestone ground, there is a long straight line of 1,900 meters bumpy allowing to work on the behavior of vehicles at high speed. Still on the same loop, several workshops are available :
- Wadi passage copy
- More or less deep notch
- Several compression of more than 10 meters guaranteeing very strong sensations when approached at full speed.
- Alternating brittle and fast passages
- Slope turns
- Chain of small and long fast curves
All of these elements allow you to test, develop and validate new equipment, thus allowing you to be more efficient with more security. By carrying out test sessions on this track, you will use the suspensions of your rally vehicle.
Drivers' verdict: "This is a track where you can push your car to the limit."
It is with the advice of the best Rally Raid drivers such as Jan de Rooy, Cyril Despres or Jean-Louis Schlesser that this development track was built. The entire Corbières Développement Compétition team, armed with the very best in public works machinery, carried out this test track with the needs of the best drivers in the car, motorcycle and truck categories in mind. After numerous endurance tests, the engineers gave a multiplying coefficient of 6, i.e. one kilometre of testing on this track is equivalent to covering 6 kilometres on the Rally Raid tracks!
SSV Track
On more than 3,000 hectares of land lie fabulous speedways.
This allows us to organise discovery outings, training courses and initiations to SSV piloting.
Furthermore, we have the possibility to lay out the track at your request by creating holes and bumps according to your wishes. This test centre has the advantage of being isolated in the middle of nature to guarantee the confidentiality of the tests.
For greater security, access to the circuit can only be from one place. Moreover, all the tracks are on private property where only authorized persons are allowed to circulate.

For the organisation of the Dakar Rally, Corbières Développement Compétition, it is also 5 timed events in the Aude on the tracks :
- Hautes Corbières,
- Château de Lastours,
- Villesèque-des-Corbières,
- Roquefort-des-Corbières,
- Massifs of Narbonne.
To ensure the safety and smooth running of the event with an average of 35,000 spectators at the edge of the track, are present :
- 150 tracks marshals
- 200 firefighters and cops
- +300 volunteers
